Founded in 1988, the Consortium has taken an important role
in coordinating the activities of asthma camps nationwide,
promoting the quality of medical care and asthma education,
and advancing the positive impact of the camps on the lives
of children with asthma.
The mission of the consortium is:
- Promote the quality of medical care delivered at existing asthma
camps.
- Provide parameters for asthma education; to promote the development
of new asthma camps.
- Develop initiatives to target high-risk children and give them the
opportunity to attend asthma camp.
