| Description: |
Children attending Asthma Camp are nine to 13 years old, and have been diagnosed with moderate or severe persistent asthma. Campers are provided a traditional camp experience that includes swimming, kayaking, fishing, hiking, arts & crafts, field games, and activities which enhance leadership skills. This experience is with the added security of having their needs met by our 24 hour volunteer medical staff. One hour of daily asthma education games is also incorporated into camp activities, making it fun for the campers to learn good asthma management skills.
