Description: FREE 4-day camp that combines asthma education with fun-oriented activities. The campers will receive information that will help them better understand and manage their asthma. They will also participate in recreational, team-building and fitness activities. These activies include asthma games class, canoeing, archery, swimming, water park, ropes course, arts and crafts.

Description: Camp Puff ' Stuff gives asthmatic children who would be unable to attend other camps the opportunity to enjoy a summer camping experience while under medical supervision. The children learn how to better manage their asthma, how to take their medications correctly, why they need to take their medications as prescribed, and how to reduce the frequency and severity of their asthma symptoms.

Description: MONDAY EVENING PRIOR TO CAMP IS PARENT ORIENTATION NIGHT WITH THE MEDICAL DIRECTORS PRESENTING AN HOUR TALK ON ASTHMA AND ANSWERING ANY QUESTIONS FOR THE PARENTS. ALSO HOMECARE PROVIDERS IN ATTENDENCE TO DEMONSTRATE ASTHMA EQUIPMENT AND ANSWER QUESTIONS. CAMP T SHIRT AND PARENT PACKET ARE GIVEN OUT THAT EVENING. THE CAMP IS TUESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. EACH DAY A NEW ACTIVITIY IS SCHEDULED. ASTHMA EDUCATION IS PROVIDED EACH DAY WITH A PRE AND POST TEST.
