LIABILITY AND INSURANCE

 

All medical staff is required to have professional liability insurance.  This is typically a policy carried individually or through their place of employment. Coverage through the national association should be researched for all medical staff that do not have professional liability coverage or whose policy does not cover their activities at camp. 

 

Each camp program should clearly state the scope and magnitude of coverage recommended for the various members of the health care team.
